最近对某市看电影者和看电视者的一次调查分析了二者人数的变化。曲线图表明，1992年到2002年期间看电影的人数以急趋下降，2002年总计为2万人。而看电视的人数在过去的10年

中持续上升，2002年达到15万。最后，有趣的是，1998年电影观众和电视观众数量相等。

我想，这种变化可能有两点原因。首先，电视不仅是一种方便的消遣形式，而且相对来说价钱便宜。看电视不必安排交通工具。人们也不须支付电影院昂贵的座位费。第二，电视可以使人及时了解当前大事和科技的最新发展。因此，许多人宁愿呆在家里看电视，而不愿出去看电影，因为看电影既费时又费钱。

依我看，到现在仍有许多人爱看电影。他们声称，电影是一种令人心旷神怡的艺术形式。舒服地坐在电影院里，人们可以欣赏到最新的影片，而这些影片通常要过很长时间才会在电视上播放。因此，我认为电影观众的人数将来会增加。

A recent urvey analyzed the change in number of film-goer and TV watcher in X city. A i hown by the graph, there ha been a harp decline in the number of film-goer during the period from 1992 to 2002, adding up to 20,000 in 2002. On the other hand, the number of TV watcher ha teadily increae in the lat decade, reaching 150,000 in 2002. Finally, it i intereting to note that there were a many film-goer a TV watcher in year 1998.

There might be two reaon, I think, for the change. Firtly, TV i not only a convenient ource of entertainment, but a comparatively cheap one. There i no point in arranging tranport. And one needn’t pay for expenive eat at the cinema. Secondly, TV make it poible for one to keep track of current event and the latet development in cience and technology. A a conequence, mot people prefer to tay at home, watching TV, rather than go out to the cinema, which wate both time and money.

Peronally, there are till a lot of people who enjoy watching film. They argue that the film i a facinating form of art. Sitting comfortably in the cinema, one can appreciate the latet movie, which will uually be hown on TV far later on. Therefore, I trut the number of film-goer will be on the rie in the future.
